African Family Health is registered in Kenya and Southern Sudan as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), with a mission to accelerate the achievement of the MDG 3,4,5,and 6 through knowledge management, capacity building of community based organizations and innovative community outreaches. Our objective is to improve the lives of women and children wherever we work.

Our vision is to be “the leading provider of technical assistance in research, communication and capacity building in health and development to organizations and individuals for the well being of families in Africa.”, hence our name- African Family Health.

Objectives

1. Capacity building

1.1  To build capacity of CBOs, FBOs and NGOs in order to enable and sustain grassroots community action to prevent and respond to health challenges for the well being of families in Africa.

2. To offer Technical Assistance:

2.1 Through research, monitoring and evaluation we strengthen capacity to record, report, and use data for decision making and planning while ensuring stakeholders’ satisfaction.

2.2. Through Communication we aim to accelerate the capacity of organizations to ensure optimum impact of interventions by information sharing and strengthening referral systems among community, partners and government systems.
